14-year-old Gokul Shyamsundar's extraordinary journey in Carnatic guitar began three years ago when guitar maestro, Sri Prasanna took him on as his disciple after his parents discovered his passion. Gokul's talent, dedication and hard work combined with his Guru's uniquely powerful teaching style and his parents' unflinching support, have helped him evolve into a dynamic performer. Gokul has performed several solo concerts in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Bangalore. Gokul's 45 seconds video titled 'Waterfall Swaras' in ragam Kedaragowlai along with Sri Prasanna went viral with more than 1.3 million views till date on social media, prompting renowned British Jazz critic Rob Garatt or write a special feature in an Abu Dhabi-based newspaper, "The National".

Performing with Gokul at this concert are three accomplished and amongst the most sought-after artistes in the contemporary Carnatic music world.
